Invite the Interim Chancellor

Thank you for your interest in inviting Interim Chancellor Heather Hulburt Norris to your event or meeting. For best consideration, please include the Chancellor’s Office early in your planning process because the interim chancellor’s calendar tends to fill up very quickly.

While the interim chancellor’s schedule is extremely busy, all requests are reviewed and considered. Depending on the topic or scheduling, you may be referred to another university official to ensure your request is appropriately addressed in a timely and respectful manner.

For internal stakeholders wanting to invite the interim chancellor to participate in an event or meeting, your proposal should first be reviewed and approved by the vice chancellor, associate vice chancellor or dean of your unit.

How to Invite the Chancellor

It is recommended that this form should be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the event or meeting.

  1. To invite Interim Chancellor Norris to an event, please complete this form.
  2. The completed form will be reviewed by Chancellor’s Office staff and the point of contact listed on the form will be contacted regarding the Interim Chancellor’s availability.
  3. Once Interim Chancellor Norris confirms her attendance, an event brief and speaking engagement form (if applicable) is due 3 weeks prior to the event, as indicated in the confirmation email that you will receive.
