We are pleased to report that the goal of $666,000 in gifts and pledges for the Harry M. Davis Distinguished Professorship in Banking has been surpassed. Now, the Walker College of Business will work toward applying for $334,000 in matching funds from the state of North Carolina. The professorship will allow the college to attract and retain talent to teach, conduct research and perform service in the field of banking and finance, preserving and building upon Davis’ lifetime of work and achievement. For details on how you can support this professorship, email Will Sears at or call 828-262-6231.

Planned gifts are critical to the university’s future and also can be a financial benefit for you and your family. Our development officers are always available to help you learn how a planned gift might provide unrealized income opportunities.
